„Miracle 66 was founded 2009 by band leader, singer and drummer Lukas Lichtner-Hoyer, inspired by his participation at the Le Mans 24 hour race with the „Jetalliance Racing“ team. The Aston Martin DBR9 carried the number 66 and brought its drivers to the Le Mans podium (3rd place in GT1). This „miracle“ done by amateur drivers gave the band its name. The first album widely is a hommage to this legendary race. The CD comes with pictures in a booklet of 100 pages as well as a DVD with 3 music videos.

Having produced and published one album, one EP and three singles, the band separated in 2013. After a 5 year break, it formed again in 2018. The first concert at christmas time in Baden, at Theater am Steg was called „5 Years After“ and was welcomed by many M66 fans and greatly enjoyed by the band. The next gig took place again at Theater am Steg, on May 25, 2019 and coincided with the release of the band‘s new maxi-single „Museum Der Lust“.

The band released its 2nd album in Dec 2019 „aust-rock.net“ during another gig at the Theater am Steg - a pure rock album with german and austrian dialect lyrics.

The 3rd album „MANEGE FREI!“ consists of 10 rock songs, released as the band’s contribution during the worlwide COVID-19 crisis in April 2020, as free download on this website, showing the band’s solidarity with all people captured in hospitals or at home.

The 4th album „BULLSHIT WORLD“ is another contribution by the band and their commitment to pure rock and blues. It contains 15 songs, inspiring the listener to think about a world that is changing rapidly.
